Season 2 Episode 3:
In this episode, we discuss the most recent champions fixtures going into detail about the three main upsets that took place.
I wanted to test Matt’s ball knowledge with a game of Guess the Career Path Champions League edition, and it is safe to say that Matt got them immediately. I didn’t even get to use the clues, so you can guarantee that I will make it harder next time.

In this episode, we discuss the most recent NFL fixtures where the Chicago Bears had a tea party in London! 🐻 ☕ 🎉
We continued our theme of guessing the career path where I don’t have a Scooby about who Peyton Manning is and still don’t. (Someone, please tell me who he is 🤣 ) There was another segment about choosing an NFL team for me to support between the Ravens and Eagles👨🔧 🦅 ✅

These are three graphics I have made that we have published onto our Instagram account to try and achieve some more fan engagement. We uploaded the first image a day before the episode went live as a sneak preview of what it will be about. I am really proud of the “who should he choose” third image because there was a segment on the podcast where Harrison asks his views to help choose an NFL team. The idea was to post this image with a poll on Instagram for people to get involved.

During the F1 episode, we discussed the Austin Grand Prix, as there was a controversial topic between Verstappen and Norris. ( Matt was definitely not biased 😂) We discussed Ferrari doing so well in this race, who would win the championship with five races at stake, and some of the new drivers like Liam Lawson finishing the race in 10th place.

These are three posters I created on Canva earlier this week for our double-header podcast episodes. For the Sports Coventry recap poster, I included the colors of the team, an image from a key player in the men’s volleyball team, and the opposition we faced. 🏐 🎨 ✅
For the two F1 posters, Matt and I decided that we could use the same template because it worked so well last time for the NFL poster, and it can help build a sense of community by getting people to vote each week. This template is so beneficial because it can add a range of variety to all the different sports we cover. The second F1 poster was based on a Western theme because of the Austin Grand Prix and used Perez as the cover star while he was dressed as a cowboy. 🤠 🇺🇸(Excuse the prison bars, but Perez hasn’t been great this season 😂)

Our most recent episode of The Benchwarmers podcast was released today, and it is all about my favourite sport, football! ⚽ ✅ (Check this out if you want to hear me annoy Matt about Newcastle losing.)
During this episode, Matt and I speak on last weekend’s football action, Man United sacking Ten Hag, and a Ballon d’Or discussion, including the disappearance of Real Madrid. This is a very interesting episode because it involves a bit of everything for sports fans to enjoy. (Especially as we brought back guess the career path) ⚽ 🏆 🤔

For these football graphics I wanted to focus on Cole Palmer because he has been one of the best players in the league this season and had an excellent game against Newcastle.
The second and third posters were Manchester United related because there was a massive talking point around Ten Hag getting sacked, so Matt and I wanted to discuss what the future holds. Then, the third poster was about the controversial penalty decision between De Ligt and Jarrod Bowen to try and get some interaction on our Instagram comments.

This week’s episode of The Benchwarmers podcast discusses the last two f1 races, where a lot of drama has unfolded! 🏎 ✅
In this episode, we speak on the three main talking points from the Mexican Grand Prix, then dive into the key moments from Sao Paulo. One massive segment was about Verstappen coming from 17th position and winning the race (don’t be surprised if Matt was over the moon 😂) We then go on to speak about Hamilton’s dream of driving Senna’s 1990’s winning car come true.

I have made two Formula 1 graphics for our most recent The Benchwarmers podcast episode, where a lot of interesting talking points took place during the race.
My personal favourite would be the Lewis Hamilton poster because of the sentiment around it how he drove Senna’s 1990’s winning Championship car and how Hamilton won his first Championship in Brazil. I tried to match the colour scheme of yellow and green to represent the Sao Paulo Grand Prix! The second poster was about Alpine making history, the first team to achieve 35 points at Sao Paulo.
It is safe to say I have caught the graphic design bug because I really enjoy creating new ones each week. I feel like making these graphics will only benefit my development of our Instagram page after receiving a positive response so far. However, if there is anything I can improve upon, then I am all ears to get some feedback.

This week’s episode of The Benchwarmers Podcast is based on recapping the NFL week nine fixtures! 🏈 🇺🇸 ✅
In this episode, we discuss the team I chose to support, along with the three key games of last weekend involving legendary performances from Lamar Jackson and Matthew Stafford. A big talking point Matt wanted to speak about was if the Chiefs are the best in the league where Taylor Swift was mentioned once or twice. (I had to try and defend her 😂) This was an episode that I edited, so I was quite proud of the way it turned out.

These posters were based off our most recent NFL episode with the key talking points being around the team I chose to support, discussing the rams game and whether the chiefs are corrupt.
I am really proud of all three posters because of the structure behind them and the layout of all the information. The Lamar Jackson poster, in particular, is my favourite because of the colour scheme and the way I included the stat about the Ravens star creating history. Another post I wanted to create was for our discussion on whether the chiefs were corrupt because they are in fine form and getting Taylor Swift into a conversation is always a bonus…
