During one of my work experience placements, I became a social media volunteer for Highgate United FC. I will create social media graphics, take photos of players, record game highlights, and write match reports for their website.

1st training photos before the game

1st photos from the 1-1 draw against Northwich

Pre Game Graphics

These two posters didn’t get used because they already uploaded a matchday graphic a few days before so I will send this in advance for the next game. You get the starting XI about 30 mins before the game so I need to ask somebody for that next time as well.

Post Game Graphics

I think for next week the photos could have been better so I need to take close-up photos on my phone. I was concentrating on taking them with my camera but didn’t remember to take them on my phone during the match. Taking photos on my phone will make it easier to transfer over to Canva as I wouldn’t have enough time to export them off my camera during half time.

Match Highlights

These are the best bits from the game against 1874 Northwich. I tried to get a few different camera angles from around the ground. There wasn’t a tripod on the stand so I couldn’t record the game from the same spot. I think it was probably better to get more angles because I got closer to the players and action. Next time I need to remember to record the oppositions goal as it wouldn’t make sense if I wanted to upload them onto social media.
